StablePay lets merchants price products in supported fiat currencies while collecting and settling stablecoin payments in USDT or USDC. When a merchant prices in a non-USD currency, StablePay can automatically convert the displayed amount into a USD equivalent for stablecoin payment. This reference page centralizes currency support and auto-conversion behavior across Checkout, Payment Links, Subscriptions, and Invoicing.

StablePay currently supports stablecoin collection and settlement in:

Exchange rate referenceMainstream international bank mid-market rates
Extra FX markupNo additional markup by default
Settlement assetUSDT or USDC
Settlement timingFollows the merchant’s configured settlement cycle
Fee calculationFees are calculated against the USD-equivalent amount

Example

If an item is priced at 100 EUR, Checkout or Payment Links converts the amount to its USD equivalent at the current rate. If the equivalent amount is 108.50 USD, the customer pays 108.50 USDT or 108.50 USDC, and fees are calculated from the USD-equivalent amount.

Important limitations

  • Auto currency conversion currently applies mainly to Stablecoin Checkout and Payment Links.
  • Invoicing and Stablecoin Subscriptions currently support USD-priced products or services only.
  • Payment Links uses the same supported pricing-currency coverage as Stablecoin Checkout.
  • Auto currency conversion is enabled by default for supported non-USD pricing currencies.
  • If you do not want conversion, price the order in USD.
  • Supported currencies and behavior can vary by product, account, and integration configuration.
